2001 - 2012: David C. Crago
David C. Crago currently serves as Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs of Ohio Northern University. He served as dean of the College of Law from 2001 until 2012.
After earning his A.B., magna cum laude, from Duke University, Crago earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Association of American Law Schools, and the American Bar Association.
Crago was a partner with the firm of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue in Columbus, Ohio, where he specialized in business and commercial litigation.
He joined the College of Law at Ohio Northern University as Professor of Law in 1991 and became dean in 2001. While serving as dean, Crago has also taught business organization courses.
Crago is actively involved in the activities of the Ohio State Bar Association, serving as chair of the OSBA Judicial Campaign Advertising Monitoring Committee. He was awarded the 2007 Legal Educator Award by the Ohio State Bar Association for his contribution to the OSBA, the lawyers of Ohio, and the public for his leadership.
Crago also served as the program chair of the OSBA Ohio Bench Bar Deans Conference in 2004.
