1987 - 1995: Albert Thomas Quick

Quick attended the University of Arizona where he received his B.A. in 1962. He attended Central Michigan University where he received his M.A. in 1964. Then, he attended Wayne State University where he received his J.D. in 1967. Quick attended Tulane University where he received his LL.M. in 1974. He was admitted to the Michigan and Kentucky Bar Associations.

Quick worked as a full-time assistant prosecutor in Michigan, as well as an associate in private law practice. He began his teaching career in 1970 when he joined the faculty at the University of Maine at Augusta as Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice and Director of the Criminal Justice Division. He then joined the faculty at the University of Louisville in 1974. He served as Professor of Law, as well as Special Assistant to the University Provost, and maintained extensive involvement in law college and university affairs.

Throughout his career, Quick was active as a speaker, panelist and CLE instructor. He published numerous articles, and is the co-author of the 1989 revisions to the text on the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure.
