In order for any person other than the student to discuss details regarding housing, financial aid, etc. they must sign and submit the Privacy Disclosure Form (FERPA), which can be found here. Please scan and email this form to email@example.com or mail to the Office of Law Admissions.

All students are required to provide the Office of Law Admissions with two (2) final official transcripts or one e-transcript from your degree-granting institution showing both the date and degree awarded. These certified copies must be sent directly from your undergraduate college or university. Students are not permitted to physically handle the transcripts at any part in the transfer process. Please have your transcripts mailed to: Office of Law Admissions, Ohio Northern University, 525 South Main Street, Ada, OH 45810. If you submitted your transcripts to LSAC/CAS before you completed your degree, you need to submit a final offical transcript to LSAC. You can see if we have received your final official transcript(s) by logging into your Applicant Status Online (ASO) and checking the "Requirements List" section.
You should have funds in the $1200-$1500 range in your personal account to begin your first weeks at Ohio Northern University. These funds will be needed for books, apartment and utility deposits, food, and miscellaneous expenses during the first weeks of classes. Your loan refund checks, if utilized, will be available via direct deposit beginning August 28, 2017 (approximate date).
Contact your undergraduate lenders to make sure that your loans are put into deferment status for your three years of attendance at ONU Law.

The Controller's Office will be e-mailing tuition bills to you Self-Service Banner account by August 1st. Tuition and fees are due August 21, 2017. Ohio Northern University will not offer health insurance for domestic students for the 2017-2018 academic year. Students seeking health insurance are encouraged to utilize healthcare.gov to find the most affordable options. For questions regarding the plan or rates for international students, please contact the Controller's Office at 419-772-2010.
Your ONU username and password for your ONU email and online Self-Service Banner account will be mailed to you after submitting your second seat deposit. This information will allow you to view your class schedule, on-campus housing assignment, and all university billing information.

The mandatory College of Law Orientation is scheduled for Wednesday through Friday, August 16-18, 2017. Dress is business professional for the first day of orientation. Orientation packets will be mailed to incoming first year law students in mid-July. If you do not receive a packet, please call the Office of Law Admissions at 419-772-2211. You can double-check the current address we have on file by logging-in to your Applicant Status Online (ASO) checker system.

SBA Welcome Back Family Reunion
Date: Friday, August 18, 2017 Time: TBA Location: TBA. SBA would like to welcome the incoming class of 2020 and returning students with a kickoff BBQ for the upcoming school year! Relax and enjoy as we prepare for another year within the hallowed halls of ONU Law School. Now is the chance to meet up with fellow classmates and become acquainted with the newest members of the ONU family. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
Ada Civic Engagement Day
Date: Saturday, August 19, 2017 Time: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Location: The day will begin in the King Horn Sports Center. Ada Civic Engagement Day, or ACE day, is a University tradition held on the Saturday of Welcome Weekend. ACE day provides an opportunity for new students to serve the Ada community, their new home for the next 3, 4, 5, or 6 years. Projects include a variety of tasks such as painting, gardening, washing fire trucks, and much more. In 2016, almost 330 new and upperclass students and 35 faculty/staff participated in the festivities. This event is optional, but we hope that many of you will choose to participate. Registration will open in July 2017.

ONU's Summer Bookstore Hours: M-F, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. | Closed Weekends
You can use loan money to order books online from the ONU bookstore. When asked for payment method, choose the option “School Debit Card” or the option that most closely resembles this. After you arrive on campus, you will need to go to the Controller's Office and get the voucher which will tell the bookstore how much credit they are authorized to extend to you, take it to the bookstore, and they will have your books waiting!
Registering: All incoming students are automatically registered for Fall classes. Once registered, your schedule will be viewable through ONU's online Self-Service Banner system which you can access by using your ONU username and password - provided to you after we receive your second seat deposit.
Sectioning: Your section information will be provided to you in your orientation packet, which will be mailed to you in mid-July. By mid-July, your course registration information (and section) should be viewable in your Self-Service Banner account.
First Day Assignments: First-day assignments are posted on the bulletin board near the Law College student mailboxes (by the Clemens Lounge) and are posted online on the First Day Assignments as they become available. Please note: Not all professors post first-day assignments. If the webpage is blank, nothing has been uploaded yet.
To submit the online on-campus housing application, you must submit your second seat deposit. At that time, a deposit packet will be mailed to your current address that will include your ONU username and password. Login to your ONU email account and an email with instructions to register for on-campus housing will be in your inbox. Your ONU username and password also act as your Self-Service Banner username and password.
2017-2018 on-campus housing costs: $8,700/year
To acquire an on-campus mailbox, you must register at the Mail Center located in McIntosh Student Center. 419-772-2400

Although Residence Life can guarantee placement in one of the on-campus facilities while spots are available, on-campus housing room number and roommate assignments may not be finalized until two weeks prior to the on-campus move-in date.

Once registered for on-campus housing, your room number and roommate information should be viewable in your Self-Service BANNER account under the "My Housing" tab.
On-campus move-in days are Monday, August 14 and Tuesday, August 15, 2017 starting at 8:00 a.m. in the McIntosh Student Center. Check-in will be available ONLY on these days unless you make alternate arrangements with Residence Life directly: 419-772-2430. Housing and roommate assignments should be sent the first week of August and will be viewable in our Self-Service Banner account under the My Housing tab.
On-Campus Mailing Address
