Congratulations on your acceptance to ONU Law!

We are excited that you will be joining us for the 2013-14 school year! The following information will help guide and instruct you on the necessary steps you will need to take in order to ensure your seat and scholarship (if awarded to you) are reserved for you until you arrive.

I'm admitted! What are my next steps?

Now that you're admitted you may be wondering "what are my next steps?".

  • Review the Admitted Students FAQ page

  • Read through entire acceptance packet thoroughly: Accepted Students Guide

  • If you haven't already, submit your FAFSA to ONU as soon as possible in order for the Office of Financial Aid to evaluate your need and determine for what awards you are eligible. (School code: 003089) http://www.fafsa.ed.gov

  • Join us for one of our two Accepted Student Days - Friday, March 15 and Saturday, April 6

  • Submit your deposit online or return the signed deposit form with your check in the mail.

  • If you received a scholarship offer, you will need to sign, date, and return the scholarship acceptance form provided to you in the admittance packet by May 15.

  • HOUSING:To submit the on-campus housing application, you will need to first submit your full first and second deposit. Once your second deposit is received, you will receive an email from the Office of Admissions containing the link to the online housing application.

2013 Accepted Student Days

  • Friday, March 15, 2013
  • Saturday, April 6, 2013

April 15, 2013
Your first deposit is due on April 15, 2013. You can submit your deposit in one of two ways. 1) Online or 2) By mailing it to: Office of Law Admissions, 525 S. Main St., Ada, Ohio 45810.

May 15, 2013
If you have been awarded a scholarship or grant, you must sign, date, and return the scholarship acceptance form in the mail by May 15, 2013 in order to hold your scholarship.

June 15, 2013
Your second deposit is due on June 15, 2013. You can submit your deposit in one of two ways. 1) Online or 2) By mailing it to: Office of Law Admissions, 525 S. Main St., Ada, Ohio 45810.

For students admitted after the deadlines: Please pay close attention to the deadlines listed in your acceptance letter. These dates will be your timeline.

Now that you have submited your seat deposit, we encourage you to visit our Orientation page which will include information related to living in Ada as well as necessary next steps you'll need to take over the coming months. We also advise you to join our Class of 2016 Facebook Group which is used to post updates regarding housing, classes, orientation and much more!

April 15 - First seat deposit of $400 is due

May 15 - Scholarship acceptance form deadline

June 15 - Second seat deposit of $200 is due

July 24 - Orientation packets mailed (Approximate date)

July 16 - Tuition bills sent electronically from the Controller's Office

Aug 1 - Fall bills due*

Aug 1 - Health Insurance Waiver Deadline (flexible)

Aug 18 - Law On-campus Move-in Day

Aug 22 & 23 - Orientation

Aug 23 - Student Bar Association Reunion BBQ (Time TBD)

Aug 26 - First day of classes

Sept 5 - Refund checks are available for pick up in the Controller's Office

Nov 25-29 - Thanksgiving break

* For students who will be funding their legal education with scholarship or loans disbursed through ONU, your bill will be held over until your funds become available.
