Biography:

Chad M. Vondenhuevel joined the College of Law in 2009 as the Assistant Director of Law Admissions. His responsibilities included: providing a strong knowledge of marketing practices for the Admissions department and College of Law, online media sources – chats, social media, information publications, and the structure and upkeep of the admissions website, Admissions event planning, design and implementation of marketing publications, and participating extensively in the recruitment process and applicant review. In early 2012, Chad was promoted to the Associate Director of Law Admissions and then to the Acting Director of Law Admissions in early June. In 2013, he was promoted to Director of Law Admissions. He is now responsible for overseeing the Law Admissions office and all staff.

Chad is a graduate from Miami University of Oxford, Ohio, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business majoring in Marketing with a focus in Interactive Media Studies and Graphic Design. While attending undergrad, Chad served for three years as the Senior Programmer for Miami University’s Housing, Dining, & Guest Services Department where he specialized in direct marketing practices and sat as the primary marketing advisor for the department, specifically the Dining Services sector.

Recognitions:

While at Miami University Chad was nominated for the 2009 Outstanding Senior Award for his extensive involvement and accomplishments in student and volunteer organizations on and off campus. He was also the Runner-Up for the 2009 Mary Molt Student Excellence Award, NACUFS, where he was highlighted as one of the nations most outstanding student employees in university and college food services.

Miscellaneous Interests:

Travel: Studied and interned in Dublin Ireland, Summer 2008, where he worked with a team to develop a extensive concept for a career/university social networking site. He spent several weeks backpacking across Europe visiting London, Rome, Florence, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Belfast, & Dublin.
