Office of Career Services
The Office of Career Services is dedicated to assisting students in all aspects of their job search. Students may be interested in working in a NALP firm, mid-size firm, local firm, corporation, government office, judicial clerkship, public interest organization, or any number of other career opportunities nationwide and in Ohio. We can help. Students may submit applications for On Campus Interviews and Resume Collections (see above). Deadlines for submissions are posted on the schedule above. Students have a higher probability of receiving an interview when they submit applications for an OCI and an RC. OCI and RC employers have had a past relationship with the ONU Law Career Services Office and have usually hired successful ONU law grads. Many of these employers are ONU law graduates.
Many employers, including ONU alumni as well as others with a preference to hire ONU students, post jobs through our office on Symplicty. Students can search these jobs at onu-law-csm.symplicity.com. Symplicity is a job search software platform on which you can sign up for OCIs complete your graduate employment survey and create a profile for employers to come to you. It just takes a few minutes to get started.
Throughout the year the Office of Law Career Services sponsors speakers during the lunch hour. Students are provided lunch while they receive information that will help them get a job and prepare for a legal career. Students may sign up for the Career Connection Events through the Law Career Services notifications.
