Professor Elena Helmer moderated a panel and spoke at the inaugural LLM Administrators Conference, Post-Graduate Legal Education: Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities, in Washington, D.C. The topic of her program, presented at the plenary session of the conference, was Integrating International LLM Students into American Academic Culture. The conference drew more than a hundred participants from 80 law schools in the United States and Canada and reflected the fast growing trend of foreign lawyers coming to the United States for an advance degree in law.
