Professor Fenton Featured Expert at ParlAmericas Assembly

Professor Howard Fenton, Director of the Democratic Governance and Rule of Law LL.M. program at ONU was a featured expert at the 9^th Plenary Meeting of the ParlAmericas Assembly, the organization of national parliaments of the Western Hemisphere.  At the meeting, held in Panama City, Panama August 30 through September 1, Professor Fenton was one of two experts addressing the working group on “Weak Rule of Law as a Threat to Citizen Security.”  He presented the paper “How Administrative Justice and Security are Related” to the working group and consulted with them as they developed recommendations for the plenary assembly to consider.  Fenton teaches Comparative Administrative Law and has worked on administrative law reform in a number of countries around the world.
