Graduates of Ohio Northern University continue their record of outstanding achievement on the Ohio bar examination. In results announced today by the Ohio Supreme Court, graduates of the College finished second among those of all Ohio law schools who took the examination in July, 2012. Ohio Northern’s overall pass rate of 89 percent was the highest among all private Ohio law schools and well above the overall pass rate of 80.8 percent.
The 91 percent pass rate for graduates of Ohio Northern who took the test for the first time in July, 2012, was also excellent. First time takers outperformed graduates of Case Western, Cincinnati, Toledo, Akron, Cleveland State and Dayton.
Stephen Veltri, Interim Dean of the College of Law, said, “We are very proud of our graduates. These fine results are a mark of their industry and ability and we are confident they will be a credit to the Ohio bar.”
