Professor Howard Fenton Conducted Workshop in Kosovo

Professor Howard Fenton, Director of the Democratic Governance and Rule of Law LL.M. Program at the College of Law, conducted a workshop October 27 and 28 in Pristina, Kosovo, for lawyers from the Office of the President and the Legal Department of the Kosovo National Assembly. The focus of the workshop was on developing standards for the President’s use of her veto powers under the Kosovo Constitution. Professor Fenton has been working with the Kosovo government for the past year as part of a Rule of Law project funded by the United States Agency for International Development.
