ONU Law Graduates Continue Success on Ohio Bar Exam
Graduates of Ohio Northern University continue their record of outstanding achievement on the Ohio bar examination. In results announced today by the Ohio Supreme Court, graduates of the College finished second among those of all nine Ohio law schools who took the examination in July, 2013. Ohio Northern’s overall pass rate of 90 percent was the highest among all private Ohio law schools and well above the overall pass rate of 82.4 percent.
The 90 percent pass rate for graduates of Ohio Northern who took the test for the first time in July, 2013, was also excellent. First time takers outperformed graduates of Capital, Case Western, Cincinnati, Toledo, Akron, and Dayton.
Rick Bales, Dean of the College of Law, said, “ONU Law's consistently high bar pass rate over the last several years reflects the strong work ethic and abilities of our students and the high caliber of legal education they receive at ONU Law."
