Ohio Northern University College of Law Public Interest Auction
The Ohio Northern University College of Law is hosting its 23rd annual Public Interest Auction at 6 p.m. on March 31 in the college of law building. The auction includes a range of goods and entertainment offerings.
Each year businesses and organizations, as well as alumni, professors, students and community members donate items, attend the auction, and bid on items at this event. Proceeds from the auction provide scholarships to help with expenses of qualified students who are working in unpaid public interest legal positions over the summer, helping those who are most in need, such as abused women and children, the physically and mentally impaired, the elderly and others oppressed and underprivileged.
Among items that have already been donated are golf outings, paintball tickets, gift certificates for area restaurants, gift packages, bowling and other entertainment packages, overnight hotel stays, Columbus Clippers and Cleveland Browns tickets and a Kindle Fire.
