ONU Law to host Spring 2013 ABA Law Student Division Meeting

Feb 13, 2013

Law students in the 6th Circuit (Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio) are invited to attend the ABA Law Student Division 2013 Spring Meeting and Governor Election, February 16, 2013 at Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law in Ada, Ohio. Join your fellow law students in substantive discussions and debates about the future of the legal profession, and prospects for legal employment after graduation.

There is no registration fee to attend this meeting yet just look at all the valuable opportunities available to you during the Spring Meeting:

  • Take home valuable tips and strategies from practicing attorneys for adjusting and thriving in the legal profession;
  • Cultivate your leadership skills through practical approaches and tips from student leaders and experienced attorneys;
  • Get an insider's view of the scope and future of the legal profession and discover the secrets to finding your first legal job, internship or clerkship.

Use this opportunity to begin establishing relationships within the legal profession -- with members of the bar from every practice setting, both veteran and new to the profession -- that will prove invaluable to you not only now, but in the future, and on a professional, and many times personal level. Many members have commented that the relationships they established during their time in the Law Student Division have resulted in lifetime friendships and professional collaborations.

We hope you will join us February 16, 2013 for the ABA Law Student Division 6th Circuit Spring Meeting and Governor Election at Claude W. Pettit College of Law. If you have any questions about the Spring Meeting, please feel free to contact us at abalsd@americanbar.org.
