Anthony J. Celebrezze Judicial Archives Room
Dedicated in April, 2004, the Celebrezze Archives Room houses papers from Judge Celebrezze's tenure as a federal judge for the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals as well as a large collection of plaques, photographs, proclamations, and other tributes. The photographs include images of Celebrezze with five U.S. presidents, two popes, and numerous judges. One of the most remarkable displays in the room holds twenty-two pens used by Presidents Kennedy and Johnson to sign legislation such as the Clean Air Act, Civil Rights Act, and Medicare Act.
The Celebrezze Archives contain Judge Celebrezze's judicial papers, memorabilia from his time serving on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and other personal documents donated to the Law School. A full finding aid for the Celebrezze Archives is forthcoming.
