Professors Jonathan H. Adler (Case Western) and Bradford C. Mank (University of Cincinnati) will discuss concepts of property rights and the place of the free market in environmental regulation. The event will be catered and is sponsored by the John Templeton Foundation.
The first week of August, a tryout packet will be distributed via e-mail to all 2L and 3L students. Anyone interested in trying out for a position on a moot court team may choose to particiapte in this weekends tryouts. The tryouts taking place Sept 18th and 19th will be trial style. September is Hunger Action Month and The Black Law Students Association will be having a Food Drive for the West Ohio Food Bank in Lima, Ohio. Since the food bank relies mainly on community support it is imperative that we help. We are collecting nonperishable food only.
At this meeting you will have the opportunity to learn about the various clinical opportunities available here at the College of Law. If you are considering a clinical program for the Spring or Summer or are just generally interested in what clinical opportunities exist, you are urged to attend. You will also be able to obtain applications for clinical placement for next semester and schedule an appointment to discuss your options with the Director of Clinical Programs.
