Liam S. O'Melinn

Liam O'Melinn joined the College of Law in 2001 and was promoted to full professor in 2007. He has also taught as a visiting professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Law School. Prior to joining the law faculty at ONU, O'Melinn was an assistant professor in the Department of Justice, Law and Society at American University, where he earned the Award for Outstanding Teaching in the General Education Program.
Prior to teaching at American University, he was a lecturer and instructor in History at Yale University. O'Melinn served as a law clerk to the Hon. Leonard I. Garth, United States Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit, and held a Golieb Fellowship in Legal History at NYU Law School.
