Race Judicata: Strides for Sabol Virtual 5K
The ONU Law Student Bar Association is hosting Race Judicata: Strides for Sabol Virtual 5K on May 16-17, 2020. The annual event will take place virtually this year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Strides for Sabol is in memory of Nancy Sabol, professor of law, director of academic support and university Title IX coordinator. Professor Sabol was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed from this world on April 25th. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Sabol family.
ONU students, faculty, staff, alumni, and anyone who knew and loved Nancy Sabol are all invited to participate in the virtual event. The cost is $25 for registration and a t-shirt. Participants should register online and complete the 5K anytime on Saturday, May 16 or Sunday, May 17. Because this is a virtual event, participants can choose their own starting line – whether it’s a treadmill or a neighborhood street.
Deadline: May 1, 2020
Once participants have registered online, they should also RSVP to join the Facebook event: Race Judicata: Strides for Sabol Virtual 5K. Participants are encouraged to share their race results and photos on the Facebook event page, or on other social media platforms using the #StridesforSabol hashtag.
Questions about the event should be directed to Student Bar Association President Maggie Kimmel (firstname.lastname@example.org).
