The rule of law is an aspirational proposition that everyone, no matter their rank or station, should be equally accountable to the law. But problems and shortcomings in justice systems all over the world prevent many people from living in safe communities and having access to justice and other governmental services. ONU Law seeks to be a change agent by consulting, advising and implementing democratic governance and rule of law projects around the globe. To this end, we engage the resources and expertise of our faculty, students and alumni in real-world problem-solving and service.
