Ohio Northern’s Office of Career and Professional Development can assist you in your legal recruitment and hiring for full- and part-time positions, including summer associates; law clerks; interns/externs; judicial clerks; full-time entry-level associates; and lateral attorneys.
Recruiting and hiring can be expensive and time-consuming. We offer many free services designed to support cost-effective and efficient hiring. Building solid relationships with employers is important for our students and graduates. We want to get to know your hiring needs to determine how we can best serve you. We have the ability to accommodate your schedule for on-campus interviews, to collect applications and do whatever we can to make your hiring process easier. We have a flexibility and personal touch you won't find at larger law schools.
JOB POSTINGS
Employers are encouraged to post and manage job openings directly through ONU's online database, 12twenty. However, if it is more convenient for you, we are always happy to post your position in 12twenty. There is no charge to use 12twenty. We provide job postings for students and alumni, and employers can specify qualifications and other criteria to meet their needs. If you have questions about using 12twenty, contact our office at 419-772-2220 or lawcareer@onu.edu.
To access 12twenty, click here. Then, you can either:
- Click "Employer Log In" and log in as a returning user with your email address and password
- Click "Sign up for an account" as a new employer
- If your login credentials do not work, click "Reset your password" and enter your email address. A new password will be sent to you.
ON-CAMPUS RECRUITMENT AND INTERVIEW PROGRAMS
We host employers for an on-campus interview program during the fall and spring of every year. Employers can interview students in our modern, private interviewing facilities for part-time, summer and full-time positions. We are happy to accommodate spring and fall dates for on-campus interviews.
Applications will be collected according to the criteria established by employers and forwarded to the hiring partner, firm manager or recruiting coordinator. Interview appointments will be scheduled to meet the employer’s needs. If you would like to stay overnight, check out The Inn at Ohio Northern University.
To schedule an on-campus recruiting date, or for assistance in getting qualified applicants for your legal positions, contact Amber Schumacher, director of Career and Professional Development at 419-772-2220 or lawcareer@onu.edu.
